The buzz around Las Vegas will hit a new high as Formula 1 fans flood the city for the second annual Las Vegas Grand Prix, taking place from November 21 to 23. The iconic Las Vegas Strip will be alive with fan activations, pop-up experiences and after-party celebrations that will stretch well into the early morning hours. Last year’s inaugural race was a huge financial success, contributing a staggering $1.5 billion to Nevada’s economy and generating $77 million in tax revenue, which funded vital community programs and schools.

For the 2024 event, the Las Vegas Grand Prix is expecting to welcome over 300,000 attendees throughout race weekend, based on ticket sales and travel data. Fans will be flocking to the Strip for everything from the high-speed thrills of the race itself to a wide range of race-themed activations. One of the most anticipated events is the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Fan Experience, a free, daytime attraction that has already sold out for Friday and Saturday, with more than 25,000 fans expected to attend each day. Among dozens of “only in Vegas” attractions, The Sphere, at 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, and considered the world’s largest spherical structure, will be a focal point during race weekend featuring its massively bright exterior LED screen that will be on all week, including during the race itself.

Beyond the race, Las Vegas will be a playground for both locals and out-of-town visitors, with an exciting lineup of race-themed events hosted by hotels, resorts, and F1 teams. Highlights include the fan-favorite Shoey Bar at Bellagio, the Ultimate Race Week festivities at Wynn, exclusive dining experiences at Caesars Palace, the luxurious Aston Martin British Bloodline experience at Fontainebleau, and much more.

When they say Las Vegas is the city that never sleeps, it’s especially true during Formula 1 weekend. The F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is a thrilling night race held right on the iconic Strip, with the starting grid located at Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane. Here are the dates and times for this exciting event:

Thursday, Nov. 21: Practice 1 runs from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. with Practice 2 following from 10 to 11 P.M.

Friday, Nov. 22: Practice 3 runs from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M.with the Qualifying Race beginning at 10 P.M.

Saturday, Nov. 23: The race begins at 10 P.M.

The F1 bag policy is very strict so only clear tote bags or backpacks, which must be no larger than 12 in x 6 in x 12 in, while non-clear small handbags or fanny packs must be no larger than 6 in x 9 in. Diaper bags are permitted if accompanied by an infant.

On November 22nd, 2024, a limited-edition series and an original artwork will be featured in a launch event at Balenciaga Wynn Plaza in Las Vegas, celebrating the world of formula racing.The new Balenciaga Racing Series combines the multilayered structure of racing uniforms with the House’s directional volumes and treatments. The Unity Sports Icon Racer Jacket, T-shirt, and Zip-up Hoodie—available in a city exclusive red andblack colorway—prominently feature Balenciaga’s signature Unity Sports Icon logo, which has its roots in sportswear iconography.
